The Vaels Fete “By The Beach’’ was an astonishing and grand festival that was dedicated to providing a fun and joyful day for students,teachers, parents and the community.The Vaels Fete took place on 31st of August at Vaels International School hosting not only our students but welcoming others from neighboring schools as well.The Fete was inaugurated by the school principal,Dr.Sujatha,at 9 AM.
There were many highlights including Game stalls such as shooting,bottle toss,and mini basketball,stalls containing material goodies,a DJ session,a huge bouncy castle,food stalls that were particularly popular with a range of cuisines from different parts of the world, including Indian,Chinese, and Italian.
The presence of other schools added a vibrant and fulfilling atmosphere for all the students attending and the feedback provided from the parents was overwhelmingly positive! ”Everything was neat and clean and all the kids are disciplined,they are very good and they stick with their classes,I'm delighted to be here”,said one of the parents who attended the festival.
This shows that the students who were present took care of their surroundings and made sure to stick with their own schools,fostering the LIM Habit:1 Be Proactive by taking initiative and being responsible, as well as setting a positive example by influencing others to care about cleanliness and to maintain their responsible behavior throughout.
The Vaels Fete also had a charitable aspect,with a portion of the proceeds being donated.This Fete was a remarkable and tremendous success achieving the goal of providing an enjoyable end to the week and an enriching experience for all the learners, teachers and parents.The school management expressed gratitude to all the volunteers and sponsors.
